“We hold in-person team retreats every six months. Our last two off-sites were in Catskills and New Orleans. Our company retreats are aimed at building culture and connection across the team. Every week we aim to start and end our weeks in community. At the start of the week, our team has built a tradition of sharing pictures from our weekend; this helps to humanize each other beyond the screen and learn more about each other outside of the work context. At the end of the week, we host Take Part Friday which is an opportunity for us to come together as a team and share exciting updates on our work, conversations with customers, and also to host team events. In the past, our fun team events have ranged from virtual pottery classes, trivia, and murder mysteries (to name a few).”
