  • “Constructor fosters community through weekly All Hands meetings. All departments or teams give updates on their work to the entire company in a fairly casual format. Team members will also hear about team wins and other special announcements. During All Hands meetings, we have an intermission to welcome and learn more about new team members by asking them fun questions. We will also save time for shoutouts for team members to recognize others at the company. To stay in touch as a globally distributed company we use Slack to communicate with all team members. We have optimized Slack by creating channels prefixed with #culture to give team members with shared interests the opportunity to bond in those channels. Our culture channels include #culture-pets, #culture-trips, #culture-parents, #culture-food, and #culture-music. With close to 80 culture channels, there is bound to be a channel that resonates with team members, and they are all welcome to create their own as well. But it’s not all virtual - although most of our work is done remotely, we understand the value of human connection and in-person gatherings. Recently, Constructor held a company-wide retreat for team members in Mexico, where team members had the opportunity to get to know each other better, learn more about Constructor, and continue to build an amazing culture together. Constructor also gives teams a budget to plan smaller team engagement events either in person or virtually.”

    • “Health, Dental, and Vision - Constructor covers 99% of employee premium costs for the base plan offering and 50% health coverage for dependents. Constructor also offers a Health Savings Account (HSA) option and contributes to it. .

    • Stock Options - Stock options are granted to all employees regardless of position. We regularly review these and offer refresher stock options to team members who are eligible for a refresher.

    • Time off and holidays - Constructor has 10 company holidays and unlimited PTO time and sick time. Team members are encouraged to take a minimum of four weeks of work off. We also encourage team members to take time off for any local holidays, religious events, or personal days that are important to them.

    • Parental Leave - We offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for team members who have been with the company for at least six months.

    • Training and development - Employees are encouraged to seek training and development opportunities. Each employee has a stipend of $250 per year toward this.

    • Work From Home stipend - We offer a stipend of $3,000 every two years for employees to use toward their work-from-home setup. This could mean office chairs, standing desks, etc.

    • Flexible work schedule and location - Constructor is 100% remote.”
