Company Overview

Superdao's founding team recently notified Will Reed that they are officially closing their doors. As such, their company profile reflects the incredible culture they built during their tenure, as well as closing remarks from Yury Lifshits (Superdao Founder & CEO).

“We created an all-in-one DAO platform that made it easy to start and operate decentralized autonomous organizations, then shifted our main focus to help companies grow faster with wallet marketing and help them better understand their users. This included finding more customers with on-chain data and running crypto-native campaigns. We called it Superdao Wallet Analytics.”

  • “Superdao had two equally ambitious goals. Firstly, we endeavored to drive global Web3 adoption by promoting the growth of Web3 projects and helping them attract new users at a minimal cost. Secondly, we aimed to create the highest-performing team in the Web3 world. At Superdao, we not only built cutting-edge products but also fostered a culture that inspired. Our achievements demonstrate that one should never shy away from being ambitious. As the saying goes, hard work and determination can lead to great things.”

  • In light of the news of Superdao officially winding down, Will Reed asked Yury Lifshits (Superdao Founder/CEO) what cultural legacy and impact on the early-stage tech ecosystem he was proud to leave behind.

Here are some highlights from what Yury had to say…

    • “[We’re proud that many] of the employees grew exponentially in the last two years both personally and professionally [because of Superdao]. A lot of our employees took [joining Superdao] as their final step in their own employment journeys before becoming founders themselves–there are at least six or seven startups already founded by former employees.

    • [Superdao] forged incredible bonds between employees. There are multiple people who met each other at Superdao and independently decided to work together *again*. We built relationships and will remain connected; maybe not immediately–maybe we’ll work in separate places, then we team up again, and so on. The bonds will continue to live on whether they are teammates again, employees of one another, or just friends. Life is long, and the bonds are strong enough to resurface again and again.

    • [Superdao] will open-source our internal culture documents (as well as our programming code) so that other companies [in the early-stage tech ecosystem] can benefit [from what we’ve built].

    • The Superdao team had a really strong commitment to talent development. Mentorship and personal growth are a big part of any culture that I have ever built before and will build in the future.”

  • Will Reed connected with Yury Lifshits (Superdao Founder & CEO) to collect his thoughts on his valiant journey with Superdao over the past couple of years.

Here is his most prominent reflection…

“I’ve become a believer in being market first–not product first or founder first. If I start another company, I’ll be much more deliberate, thoughtful, and selective on the market and not just work on the first idea. [This is because] there aren’t many markets that are ripe for good outcomes and big, new, independent companies. Find things that are big, defensible, and independent where there is a space in the market for you. And if you find that good market and something that is on an exponential trajectory, then join it. It doesn’t matter if [you’re a] founder or an employee; work in the best market first and foremost.”
